This release is a short love letter to locations, people, and memories from my past. It is probably one of the more personal things I have put together, so it will probably confuse most, but it felt right to finalize and pass on to you all. Honestly, it makes me feel kind of vulnerable to release this now. The world seems so stuck and fragile and making any kind of life changes we once took for granted seem totally impossible or foolhardy. We are all frozen where we currently are; for good or ill. That feeling has brought on a fair amount of anxiousness, dread, and depression in me in the last few weeks, followed by reflecting on my past. These four pieces have been helping me soothe those emotions but have also made me recognize how important our past selves are to whomever we are now. I think that last statement is usually pretty obvious to most, but it's worth reflecting on and absorbing for myself. I hope you enjoy the sounds, even if the meaning or significance behind most of them will be lost on most of you. May they be apart of a soundtrack to some future life adventures you go on and then remember fondly further down the line of life... My best to you all. S. 05/28/20
